When the devastation of numerous natural disasters hit, Denny’s and EP+Co saw an opportunity to take the brand’s newly rediscovered brand purpose “We love to feed people” to the next level: by building the Mobile Relief Diner, a 53-foot kitchen on wheels, serving free hot meals to those who needed them most. In the first year of its implementation, the MRD garnered 15MM earned media impressions and is now a permanent fixture that is on the road whenever America needs it.
