Cystic Fibrosis patients, often diagnosed at birth, live with lifelong treatment. While staying adherent is crucial, traditional tools are perceived as lacking value and effectiveness. Our adherence tool had to be fundamentally useful but also engaging and fun to ensure continued use. Understanding the audience and the difficulty of having to transition to adult self-care, we crafted a tool with innovative design, interactivity, and ‘real talk’, appealing equally to teenagers and their parents.
