Becoming a firefighter has very demanding physical and moral requirements. That makes finding qualified applicants particularly difficult under any circumstances.

As one of the busiest departments in the country, Atlanta Fire Rescue’s force doesn’t come close to reflecting the city’s diverse populations. We particularly wanted to inspire women, Latinos, and LGBTQ candidates
to become the next generation of Atlanta’s bravest.

Potential candidates needed to know it doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, or how you identify, if you can pass the tests, you instantly earn a place in a close-knit family of elites. We wanted to inspire everyone to step forward and answer the call.
